Pool Tournament for Fistula

by Christina on April 16, 2012

Mbumbi at his best

Or at least for the surgeries to fix fistula. This past winter term, we held a pool tournament at Mbumbi’s suggestion. His legendary pool abilities were put to the test, and his bragging was proved to have considerable substance. Coming out as victor of Dartmouth’s first pool tournament, hosted by Mountains For Moms, Mbumbijazo leads our club onwards. :D

Check out the pictures of the event here. They’re not terribly artistic but they’re fun.

September 29, 2011

’12 Seniors! That means Mbumbi, Heather and I will soon leave Dartmouth, becoming initiated members of the working-class. But in the meantime…fundraising for Obstetric Fistula surgeries, memories of our successful climb, and the enormous potential of future trips have not eluded our attentions.
